South Korean television network MBC will broadcast the 100-minute meeting starting at 8 p.m.

“Anyone is welcome to join, and people can ask the president any question they want,” said Cheong Wa Dae spokesperson Ko Min-jung.

She added that the president expects to have a “candid talk” with participants at the meeting and exchange views on his policies so far.

Sworn in as president in May 2017, Moon passed the halfway point in his five-year term last Saturday.

To mark his second anniversary of presidency, he sat down with a KBS reporter for a live interview to address people’s questions.

About 300 people can take part in the town hall meeting. Those interested in attending can register at www.imbc.com from Nov. 10-16.
