Reunited K-pop idol group g.o.d. has decided to expand its 15th anniversary reunion concert, originally scheduled to be held only in Seoul, into a nationwide concert tour, according to the group’s agency sidusHQ on Monday.

g.o.d. had been slated to hold just two celebratory concerts on July 12 and 13 at the Auxiliary Stadium at Sports Complex in Jamsil, Seoul. When ticket sales opened last month, both concerts sold out within 30 minutes, testifying to the group’s undying popularity.

In response to high demand and interest from fans, the veteran idol group decided to hold eight more shows in other cities around the nation. g.o.d. will perform in Gwangju on Aug. 2-3, in Busan on Aug. 15-16, in Daegu on Aug. 23-24 and Daejeon on Aug. 30-31.

Last month, all five original stars of g.o.d.― Kim Tae-woo, Son Ho-young, Danny Ahn, Park Jun-young and Yoon Kye-sang ― made a much talked-about comeback after 12 years apart with the new single “The Lone Duckling.”

g.o.d. also released a surprise teaser video on its official YouTube channel on Tuesday. In the short clip, the group’s title “g.o.d.” slowly turns into “g.5.d.,” emphasizing that the group has returned in full. Starting on Wednesday, each member will unveil an individual teaser clip every two days in preparation for the group’s new studio album to be released next month.

Pop group g.o.d. (Groove Overdose) first made its debut in 1999 with the single “Dear Mother” and shot to stardom with hits such as “Lie” and “One Candle.” Yoon Kye-sang left the group in 2002, after which the remaining four members released its seventh studio album “Into the Sky” in 2005 and indefinitely parted ways to pursue separate paths.
