Microsoft’s new ad for Nokia Lumia 920 Windows phone portrays the battle between two competitors, Samsung and Apple, in the U.S. smartphone market.

It starts with a wedding ceremony where two groups of guests start to take pictures, one with the Galaxy Note 2 and the other with the iPhone 5.

A brawl ensues between the two groups when one Apple user mocks a Samsung user. The scuffle turns into a rowdy scene reminiscent of the patent spat between the two tech rivals.

The ad ends with the slogan “Don’t fight. Switch,” after showing two Nokia users who are the only people outside the fight.

The ad was produced by 72andSunny, which made Samsung’s Super Bowl ad last year.

Microsoft is trying to catch up in the U.S. smartphone market dominated by Apple and Google’s Android operating system. According to the recent report by the Kantar Worldpanel ComTech, Microsoft’s mobile operating system share increased by 1.9 percentage points to 5.6 percent in the first quarter of this year.
