Seoul City is recruiting new members for Global Seoul-Mate, a program that introduces the city to the world through social networking.

Anyone who has a good command of English, Japanese, or Chinese regardless of their current country of residence can participate in the program.

Those with an established presence on SNS channels such as Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks are preferred.

Last year 211 people joined the program and the city will pick 150 this year.

The activities will include publicizing the output of the city government and promoting the city with pictures, videos, artwork and writing on their SNS accounts.

The members will be invited to offline meetings for relevant projects and promotional events in Seoul.

The application period runs from March 14 to April 8.

More information is available on Internet sites: english.seoul.go.kr (English), chinese.seoul.go.kr (simplified Chinese), tchinese.seoul.go.kr (traditional Chinese), and japanese.seoul.go.kr (Japanese).
