Neowiz Games, one of the country’s top game firms, introduced its new online game called “BLESS” at an event in southern Seoul on Tuesday, stating that the game will be available for play at the upcoming game show G-Star 2012 next week.

Produced by a team of 150 game experts who developed “Lineage 2,” “Aion” and “TERA,” “BLESS” is the company’s first independently developed online game in the genre of massive multiplayer online role-playing game.

The game features a fantasy based on the medieval times in Europe, with 10 different tribes and eight classes.

For example, the first story unveiled by Neowiz is about the heroes who are fighting for their own beliefs and visions.

Visual graphics, narratives and inter-communication among players are also emphasized in the new game, said Neowiz officials.

“The combination of exquisite natural surroundings, history and culture tries to demonstrate reality, while maintaining the beauty of the fantasy world,” “BLESS” studio producer Jacob Han said.

The computer-based testing version of “BLESS” will be available by the first half of next year, to be commercialized at a later date. However, the company will present three tribes and four classes for a 30-minute play at G-Star in Busan, its officials said.

Neowiz also plans to introduce “BLESS” in North America, China, Japan and Southeast Asia once the game gains popularity at home.
