Facebook launches K-pop page

Facebook said Monday it has launched a K-pop music page to help fans of Korean pop music around the world to engage with their favorite K-pop stars more actively.

The page, provided jointly by Facebook and Korea’s largest entertainment agency SM Entertainment, will be updated with the latest K-pop news and content in both Korean and English.

On Monday morning at 11 a.m., Seoul time, the K-pop page had photos and information from the SM Town Concert in Los Angeles.

The page is seen at www.facebook.com/kpopmusic.

페이스북에서 소녀시대 만난다 

페이스북(www.facebook.com)은 대한민국 및 전세계의 KPOP 팬들이 좋아하는 KPOP 아티스트들과 더 활발하게 교류하기 위해 KPOP on Facebook 페이지를 새롭게 론칭했다고 21일 밝혔다.

이 페이지는 소녀시대와 빅뱅 등 이미 페이스북을 활발하게 활용하고 있는 KPOP 스타들의 뉴스와 콘텐츠를 국영문으로 페이스북에 업데이트할 예정이다.

이번 론칭을 기념하여 SM엔터테인먼트는 KPOP 팬들에게 아티스트들의 다양한 특별 콘텐츠를 제공한다. KPOP on Facebook 페이지는 미국 캘리포니아의 로스앤젤레스에서 현지 시각 5월 20일 저녁 7시(한국 시각 5월 21일 오전 11시)에 열린 SM타운 콘서트의 생생한 현장의 열기를 전했다.
