Four of South Korea's top designers will showcase their work in a regular government-led fashion show set to open in New York next week, officials said Wednesday.

The ninth edition of Concept Korea will take place at the Lincoln Center on Tuesday, as part of the New York Fashion Week, which will be held at various venues throughout the city on Feb. 5-13, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said.

Since 2009, the ministry and its subsidiary Korea Creative Contents Agency has jointly organized the Concept Korea show in an effort to raise global awareness of Korean fashion and support their inroads into overseas markets.

The fall-winter 2014 runway show will be held under the theme "Aspire to Inspire," showcasing distinctive pieces by the four designers -- Ko Tae-yong, Park Youn-soo, Lee Suk-tae and Choi Bo-ko -- according to the ministry.

Officials said the show will also feature tunes from various homegrown musicals.  (Yonhap News)
