Speaking at a press conference before the showcase, the 25-year-old said that he was planning to host a tour concert in Japan in November.

“I’d like to thank Japanese fans for showing deep interest in my solo album,” Kim was quoted as saying by the agency.

Kim will kick off his tour in Osaka in November, and travel to six different cities, including Sapporo, Hiroshima and Nagoya, the agency said.

Kim, the former leader of boy band SS501, has gained more fame since joining Keyeast, the agency of actor Bae Yong-joon, who is also a major shareholder in the company.

Kim starred in the popular drama “Boys Over Flowers,” and also “Naughty Kiss,” which is set to air in Japan. Last year, he appeared at the opening ceremony of the Guangzhou Asian Games to sing the Games’ official song. He also took part in a charity event with Bae at the Tokyo Dome, attracting more than 4,500 Japanese fans.
