Requirements

- Excellent news sense and an ear for good writing.

- Able to polish and streamline copy while applying meticulous checking for consistency and errors.

- Strong fact-checking ability with a head for figures.

- Comprehensive understanding of AP style.

- Two or more years of experience in journalism or related fields. 

- Additional consideration will be given to candidates with Korean language ability.

Job description

The role involves editing articles for print and online, video scripts and other online copy. Other tasks include headline writing and proofreading, as well as contributing to podcasts and video content. There are also opportunities to write on an ad-hoc basis.

Note

Candidates must either have a work visa or qualify for a relevant visa.

Hours

40-hour workweek, in-office. Days and times of work vary, but include some Sundays and evening hours on a rotational basis.
