New GM appointed at InterCon Alpensia Pyeongchang Resort

InterContinental Hotels Group announced that Jacob Yi has been appointed general manager of InterContinental Alpensia Pyeongchang Resort in Gangwon Province. Yi is an alumnus of University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he received a bachelor of science degree in hotel management. He has a background in sales and marketing at Westin Chosun and Hilton hotel in Seoul. He also worked as a general manager in the Pacific Hotel and Warwick Hotel in the U.S. The hotel in PyeongChang opened in December 2009.
