ATHENA’s Jung admits relationship with co-star

Actor Jung Woo-sung has admitted to having a special relationship with Lee Ji-ah, who played a former lover of Jung in the spy drama “ATHENA: Goddess of War.”

Jung told his fans at a fan meeting on Sunday that he has been dating Lee Ji-ah.

“The relationship has just started. I hope you all understand in a good way,” Jung said.

The two stars in “ATHENA: Goddess of War” were spotted on a date in Paris, domestic news reports said on March 11.

The local Kyunghyang Shinmun revealed three photos of Jung Woo-sung and Lee Ji-ah, walking on a street in the French capital acting like a couple.

“Lee Ji-ah was with Jung Woo-sung with her hand inside of Jung’s coat pocket. They walked a street while looking around to check if anyone was looking at them, but they sure looked like they are dating,” a witness at the scene was quoted as saying.

The report said that two were not on an official visit to Paris.

Jung returned from Paris earlier than Lee, but didn’t mention anything about the reports until his fan meeting on Sunday.

“ATHENA: Goddess of War” ended on Feb. 21.

정우성은 또 이날 광진구 자양동 나루아트센터에서 생일을 맞아 비공개로 열린 팬미팅에서 이지아와의 교제를 인정하는 발언을 하고 팬들의 질문에 "(이지아와) 대화가 잘 통해서 좋았다"면서 "예쁘게 봐달라"고 말한 것으로 전해졌다.

정우성은 최근 이지아와 프랑스 파리의 거리를 함께 거니는 사진이 언론에 보도되면서 열애설에 휩싸였다.

이들은 지난달 막을 내린 SBS TV '아테나 : 전쟁의 여신'에서 호흡을 맞췄다.
