Dating rumors swirl online over G-Dragon, Lee Ju-yeon

G-Dragon, the leader of K-pop boy band Big Bang, and actress Lee Ju-yeon, a former member of girl group After School, have become the talk of the town Thursday, as a video and photos suggest the two might be an item.

The rumor started Oct. 30 when a Chinese video app circulated online showing the two making funny faces together. Then on Wednesday, an internet user compared several photos captured from the two stars' social media sites in a post on an online bulletin board.

Although the two sets of photos do not show them together, they present strikingly similar backgrounds and ambience, making fans think they took the photos at the same venues.

In one pair of photos, the two each went paragliding in a green safety helmet. In another, each sat in a dimly lit restaurant, enjoying themselves.

When the video came out last month, YG Entertainment, which represents G-Dragon, said the two were just close friends. On Thursday the company said it wouldn't comment on the rumor because it is a "personal matter."

Lee's agency, Better Ent, said it would check with the actress about the dating rumor. (Yonhap)
