Convenience store CU launches food line for ‘lone drinkers’

Convenience store chain CU said Tuesday that it has launched single-portion packages for people who drink alone.
The new CU package comes in two types with one for soju and the other for beer. Both are priced at 3,800 won ($3).

The soju package has spicy pork, pan-fried dumplings, cheese gratin, sausage cooked with vegetables and spicy garlic-flavored ramen.
The beer package has Japanese savory pancake okonomiyaki, deep-fried dumplings in hot pepper sauce, macaroni and salad and mild curry flavored ramen.
