Slovak honorary consulate opens in Busan

An honorary consulate of the Slovak Republic opened its door in Busan on Tuesday.

The opening ceremony was attended by visiting Slovak Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Miroslav Lajcak and Slovak Ambassador to Korea Dusan Bella.

Dongil Rubber Belt CEO Oh Myung-hwan took on the post of honorary consul. The company has a factory in Slovakia.

The honorary consulate in Busan will promote economic cooperation and civilian exchanges between the two countries.
