부산 영도경찰서는 13일 아버지(47)를 흉기로 살해한 혐의(존속살인)로 A(18)군에 대해 구속영장을 신청했다.
A군은 12일 오후 8시25분께 친동생과 싸운 일로 자신을 꾸짖은 아버지가 목욕탕 에 들어가자 부엌에 있던 흉기를 들고 뒤따라가 옆구리 등 3곳을 찔러 숨지게 한 혐의를 받고 있다.
A군의 아버지는 119구급대로 부산대병원으로 옮겨져 긴급수술을 받았으나 13일 오전 4시30분께 숨졌다.
경찰 조사결과 평소 아버지와 사이가 좋지 않았던 A군은 이날도 친동생에게 욕설을 했다는 이유로 아버지가 야단을 치는데 격분해 목욕중인 아버지에게 흉기를 휘두른 것으로 드러났다.
Busan teenager stabs father to death
A teenager in Busan is in custody and facing a charge of patricide for stabbing his father to death after being scolded, police said Wednesday.
The furious 18-year-old son allegedly followed his father into the bathroom and stabbed him late Tuesday after being told off about a fight he had with a younger sibling, according to the police.
The father, 47, was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for emergency surgery, but died early Wednesday morning, police officials said.
According to the police, the suspect did not get along with his father and was enraged at being scolded for cursing at his younger sibling.
The police said they are currently seeking a formal arrest warrant for the teenager. (Yonhap News)
