A German dentist has come into the spotlight after introducing Alpine-style “dirndl” outfits for her staff in an attempt to distract nervous patients.

According to the British Metro, Dr. Marie-Catherine Klarkowski and her assistants wear cleavage-revealing garments at the office.

“The most important thing is to take away patients’ fear. The sight of cleavage gets patients distracted from the pain rather quickly,” the 42-year-old dentist, who owns the Munich-based dental clinic “Relax & Smile,” explained.

Dr. Klarkowski hit upon the idea after visiting an Oktoberfest event where she saw men staring at women wearing the eye-catching outfits.

The number of patients visiting the clinic has increased by a third thanks to the newly introduced dress code.

“I much prefer working in a dirndl, I enjoy looking good at work and it’s a lot more fun since we have the new outfits,” The Metro quoted Larisa Hrustic, an employee of the dental clinic, as saying.
