Effective this year, the U.S. Embassy will offer monthly consular services in Busan instead of on a bimonthly basis.

A consular officer will be available on Jan. 24, from 1p.m.―4 p.m. and on Jan. 25, from 9 a.m. to noon at the American Presence Post, Lotte Gold Rose Building ― also known as the Job Center Building ― in Yangjung-dong, Busanjin-gu, Room 612.

United States citizens will be able to apply for U.S. passports, additional visa pages in their current passports, Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, and Social Security cards.

A consular officer will also offer notarial services and provide information regarding voting, federal benefits, and registration with the embassy.

Any questions about requirements should be emailed to seoul_acs@state.gov.

The tentative consular service visit dates to Busan for the next six months are Feb. 22-23, March 21-22, April 18-19, May 23-24 and June 20-21.
