The Commission on Filipinos Overseas and the Philippines Embassy have published the schedule for their cultural orientation seminars.

The seminars will be held at St. Mary Euphrasia Foundation-Center for Overseas Workers (SMEF-COW) and the People’s Reform Initiative for Social Mobilization (PRISM).

Apart from attending the two-day cultural orientation seminar, Filipino spouses and other partners of Korean nationals are also required to attend a counseling program.

Attendance of the counseling session shall precede attendance of the cultural orientation seminar.

The counseling program will help address individual concerns and manage expectations of counselees on the realities of intermarriage and settlement overseas.

The counseling sessions are held twice a week, every Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Counselees are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
